  • What kind of adhesive does Universal Products use?
    1. Universal uses an adhesive developed by Avery called TFX Plus. This adhesive was designed to work well in hot and cold temperatures. TFX Plus is more aggressive than the previous TFX adhesive but not as aggressive as their most aggressive adhesive.
  • What is the warranty on Universal’s products?
    1. Universal offers a 3-year warranty on their 2-mil vinyl when applied to the sides of the vehicle. There is no warranty if the vinyl in applied on the top of the vehicle (hood, roof, deck-lid or spoiler). Universal does offer a vinyl called Endura that does have a 3-year warranty for horizontal applications (hood, roof, deck-lid and spoiler).
  • Does Universal do custom colors?
    1. Universal does have colors that are available but not shown on their color charts. You can request a custom color swatch be sent to you. Please be aware that any custom orders on stripe or roll goods have a required minimum run that can be anywhere from 1 to 50 rolls.
  • Do you stock all of Universal’s products?
    1. We may not have every single thing Universal Product manufactures, but we are the largest stocking distributor in the country. If we don’t have something you need, we can have it drop shipped directly from Universal Products to you.
  • What is Endura Vinyl?
    1. Endura is the only vinyl on the market that is designed to resist the power and the heat of the sun. Endura has a 3-year warranty on horizontal applications (hood, roof, deck-lid and spoiler)and is the perfect choice for racing stripes. Endura is available in Matte Black, White, Black, Silver and Charcoal.
