1. Saturn has begun alerting customers that it may be spun off by General Motors as an independent marketing and distribution company.

2. Chrome Effects now has a replacement billet grille and bumper grille for the 07-08 Nissan Maxima; E-Z-On plastic grille for the 03-06 GMC Sierra and wheel skins for the 07-08 Ford Taurus 16” wheel.

3. SEMA has announced that Thursday, May 7, 2009 will be the next testing date to be become SEMA certified in the installation of self-adhesive products. Registration is open through March 23, 2009.

4. General Motors has announced they will be reopening the Flint, Michigan plant in mid March. This plant produces the Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra trucks.

5. Chrome Effects has added more fuel door covers to their line. 91-98 GM C/K pickup; 92-99 Chevy Suburban, Tahoe, Yukon; 05-07 Ford Mustang; 94-01 Dodge Ram; 97-04 Dodge Dakota; 07-08 Dodge Caliber; 07-09 Jeep Liberty, Compass; 07+ Jeep Patriot; 06+ Jeep Commander; 07+ Dodge Nitro; 07+ Chrysler Aspen, and 05-07 Nissan Armada.

6. Wings Direct now has a custom spoiler for the 07-09 Mazda CX-7.

7. SEMA has cancelled the Technical Skills and Training Conference that was scheduled for March 27-28, 2009. SEMA is planning to have the TSTC somtime in 2010.

8. GM reassigned its engineers who worked for its High Performance Vehicles Operations which was responsible for the high-performance versions of several Chevrolets including the HHR SS, Cobalt SS and V8 Colorado as well as the Cadillac CTS and STS. GM says the vehicles will stay on the market for the duration of their product cycles.

If the ratio is 1:2.5, this means that for every inch it is tall it will be 2.5” wide.
